My husband and I briefly visited Antwerp in Summer 2006. It was fabulous! Blessed with blue sky and comfortable weather, we walked all around the Grote Markt snacking on tasty frites. After a visit to De Kathedraal, we strolled to the river, then made our way to St Andries for fashionista watching and a visit to MoMu. I enjoyed a rare experience of trying on creations by Yoji Yamamoto at his 'dream shop'. We walked back towards the Centraal Station, through the wholesale diamond district, and finally visited the Diamant museum. We ate gaufres for a quick pick-me-up, and bought some chocolates as gifts and got back on a train back to Gembloux. We had a very good time, and are planning our next visit!!Monday, April 9, 2007
